The Aegean Explorer – acrylic ink original

£50.00

There is evidence that art enhances understanding of technical subject matters in science. The University of Essex are keen to explore this in order to find creative ways to expand understanding and connect with local comminunities.

In 2022, The School of Life Sciences and Archipelagos: The Institute of Marine Conservation invited me on a field trip as artist in residence in the beautiful Aegean Sea, Greece. Taking part in four studies – Marine Mammals, Seagrass, Marine Plastics and Fisheries – I created colourful and energetic work, mostly in the field and some on return to the UK.

This acrylic ink original is 7×5 incles mounted in a 10×8 inch white frame.
